FOREVER is a love story about the big choices in life and a grandiose sci-fi drama across time and space, on land and in a claustrophobic submarine darkness in the deep. A violent earthquake off the coast of Iceland causes a mysterious fissure in the seabed several kilometers below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The unique natural phenomenon dramatically accelerates global climate change and is a potential threat to humanity. Far away, somewhere in Denmark, serious sparks fly between Elias and Anita. He dreams of becoming a deep-sea scientist and helping to save the planet. She is a talented singer with plans to start a music career. The two fall head over heels for each other and a passionate love affair begins, but eventually ends. Later in life, Elias has achieved his dream and has been assigned a key role on the international team of scientists to close the rift at the bottom of the ocean. But when he meets Anita again, he comes face to face with the life he chose not to live and has to ask himself: Can you choose your own destiny?
