Maja

Maja, a 6-year-old Serbian girl, is dropped off at kindergarten early one morning by her parents. They have just moved to Denmark and Maja doesn't really speak Danish yet. In the kindergarten, Maja gets into conflict with the other children because she does not know the language and because she is constantly trying to clean up after the other children. The teachers try to meet her, but she always ends up in situations where she is misunderstood because no one in the kindergarten understands what she wants. Maja is one of the last to be picked up by her father. Maja's mother is waiting in the car. Maja and her father get into Maja's mother's car, but they don't go anywhere.
